Scotland School District

Scotland School District has plenty to offer kids and young adults in the preparation for life beyond school. School activities are a just one way to grow both in character and athleticism. Scotland offers just about every sport there is to offer such as Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Track, Golf, and Cross Country. If sports aren't for you, Scotland has taken great pride in the accomplishments of their Arts program. Scotland has always been very competitive with Drama, Band, Swing Choir, FFA and FCCLA.

With our experienced teaching staff, averaging about 20 years, Scotland Elementary and High School both have been named on the list of South Dakota's Distinguished schools. Scotland tests considerably above average in Science, Math, Social Studies, and Reading. With the small class sizes, about 11 students for every staff member, teachers are able to focus more on student needs and are able to assist students easier with any questions that may arise.
